Founder & CEO at EverestX
Saad Ahmed Saadi
Founder and CEO of EverestX, a managed-talent platform that places vetted marketing specialists at flat managed-platform pricing — bootstrapped from solo operator to 11-50 employees serving clients across 28 marketing disciplines since 2022.
Background
Saad founded EverestX in February 2022 after a decade operating marketing programs across both agency and in-house sides. The pattern he kept seeing — agencies marking up specialist talent 3-5x for account-management overhead clients didn't actually use, and full-time hires costing 8-12 weeks and $200k+ loaded to fill seats that didn't need full-time commitment — was an obvious structural inefficiency without an obvious vendor solving it.
Managed-talent platforms had emerged in software engineering (Toptal, Andela) but the equivalent for marketing was missing. Existing options were either freelance marketplaces with zero vetting (Upwork, Fiverr) or premium-priced US-only networks (Toptal at $150-$300/hr, Marketerhire at $80-$200/hr) — both of which left a gap for the mid-market businesses that needed managed execution at sustainable pricing.
EverestX is the third path: vetted marketing specialists embedded month-to-month at flat managed-platform pricing ($10-$12/hr full-time, $14-$16/hr part-time) with a Talent Success Manager backstop and replacement guarantee. The model works because we've cut the agency overhead — sales, account managers, multi-account dilution — without compromising on vetting or quality.
