What you'll need
Step 1
Hunter Settings → Integrations → HubSpot → Connect. Authorize via OAuth. Choose properties to map.
Open Hunter Settings → Integrations.
Find HubSpot. Click Connect. Authorize via HubSpot OAuth.
In the configuration, choose: (a) automatically push verified contacts to HubSpot as Contacts, (b) what tag or property to set on the Hunter source.
Map fields: Hunter "Department" → HubSpot Custom Property; Hunter "Position" → HubSpot Job Title; etc.
Test: in Hunter, find an email and click "Push to HubSpot." Confirm the contact appears with correct fields.
Step 2
Hunter Settings → Integrations → Salesforce → Connect. Map to Lead or Contact object.

Authorize via Salesforce OAuth.
Choose target object: Lead (for new prospects) or Contact (for existing accounts).
Map fields. Salesforce field structure is rigid — confirm every required field has a mapping or a default value.

Step 3
Hunter Settings → Integrations → Lemlist/Smartlead/Instantly → Connect. Then push Hunter Leads lists directly into sequences.
Hunter Settings → Integrations → find your outreach tool.
Authorize via OAuth or API key (depends on the tool).
Once connected, your outreach tool campaigns appear in Hunter.
From a Hunter Leads list, click "Push to [tool]." Select the target campaign. Hunter sends verified contacts directly into the sequence.
This saves the CSV-export-then-import dance. ~10 min per campaign of work eliminated.
Step 4
Zapier for tools without native integration (Attio, Close, etc.). Skip Zapier when native exists — it is slower, costs money, and breaks more.
Tools with native Hunter integration: HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Lemlist, Smartlead, Instantly, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign.
Tools without native (use Zapier): Attio, Close, Folk, Outreach, SalesLoft.
Zapier setup: zap trigger = "New Hunter Lead Added." Action = create contact in target tool.
Costs $30-100/month depending on volume. Reliable but not free.
Step 5
For each connected tool, run a real test — find an email in Hunter, push to the destination, verify it appears with correct fields.
Pick one email in Hunter. Push to HubSpot. Verify in HubSpot within 30 seconds.
Pick another email. Push to Lemlist. Verify the sequence shows the new contact.
Document the workflow for the team: "Hunter → HubSpot push: where the contact ends up, what tags get applied."
Train SDRs on the push flow. Saves 20-40 hours/month team-wide.
Common mistakes
Using Zapier when native integration exists
What goes wrong: You spend $79/mo on Zapier to do what HubSpot native integration does for free. Annual waste: $948. Zaps also break on payload changes.
How to avoid: Audit Hunter Settings → Integrations. Use native for every tool that has it. Reserve Zapier for the few without.
Not mapping custom fields
